I absolutely love taking pictures.  I wrote my college admissions essay on photography.  I was in this beautiful garden in San Juan Capistrano taking photos and there was this incredibly beautiful and haunting spiderweb.  It was so large and intricate, I felt humbled by the frequent petty concerns of high school life.  I was enchanted by the web and wanted to photograph it extensively.  After leaving the garden, I was so excited to get to the dark room and develop the film.  And then I discovered the entire roll was terrible.  You could barely identify the spiderweb at all.  And I realized that sometimes true beauty cannot be captured, whether by lens or words.  You are just left with experience.  That moment will be one I remember for a great time, while the terrible college essay's content was blocked out long ago.  I aspire to capture the beauty in every day life that I see, even when it's an impossible feat.  So here is portion of my collection.
